Bar del Poble is a bar located in Girona, (Plaça del Castell, 3, 17113 Peratallada). This year I went to Girona and I have decided to visit Peratallada, a little and historical town of the province. Actually, when I went, Gloria storms (in Spain) started so it was raining a lot and, it was one of the open places that we have found to guard us. When we arrived, there were two citizens drinking some artisanal beer, it was not that crowded and, what surprised me is that the bar shares space with the Tourism Office, which was closed. Bar style was driving us to where e were, to an ancient town of Catalonia and, in addition, the service was good enough.

In relation about the price, it was 3,25 € and, talking about the potatoes, they gave us a portion of super crispy potatoes, for my liking, they were good, moreover it seemed that they were precooked/frozen. In relation to the sauce, this one was AMAZING, it was spicy and its creaminess was the adequate, it had some sprinkled red paprika which proportionate that smoked flavor.

Finally, the final assessment for the bar is a 7,5. They have a great selection of tapas and artisanal beers at a good price. Bar del poble, as you can imagine offers a really close service to its clients, they are friendly moreover if you are not from the town, maybe, you will feel a bit distant.
